General Questions

What is the Createrun Store?

The Createrun Store is where you get Createrun editions and the apps, sites and libraries that run on Createrun instances. Apps come from Createrun and from third-party publishers.

Is the Store free to use?

Browsing the Store and getting free items is free. Some products are paid, and some paid plans start with a free trial.

Purchasing and Payment

How can I get an app?
  1. Sign in with your Createrun account
  2. Open the app's detail page
  3. Choose "Get" for a free item, or "Buy" and a plan for a paid one
  4. For paid plans, complete the payment at checkout

Acquiring an app does not install it. You install it from your instance; see the Help Center.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Payments are currently processed through Stripe. Createrun may add other payment methods in the future; any such method will be offered through Createrun's checkout.

Are prices tax-inclusive?

Displayed prices do not include tax. Where tax applies, it is calculated at checkout, and the amount charged is confirmed there.

What is the refund policy?

Createrun products are generally non-refundable; exceptions are made at Createrun's discretion. Apps from third-party publishers follow the publisher's refund policy, as described in the Store Terms.

Plans and Subscriptions

What kinds of plans are there?
  • Free: no payment required
  • Subscription: billed monthly or yearly, renewing until you cancel
  • Trial: some paid plans start with a free trial period

There are no lifetime licences.

Where can I see what I own?

Sign in and open My Apps. Licences are under Licenses and subscriptions under Subscriptions.

How can I cancel or downgrade a subscription?

Manage your subscriptions under My Apps › Subscriptions. A cancellation or downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then, everything keeps working.

Support

How can I get support?

For apps from third-party publishers, support is provided by the publisher.

Publishing

How can I publish my app?
  1. Build your solution in the Createrun IDE
  2. Publish it to the Store from the IDE
  3. Complete the listing; it is reviewed before it appears in the Store
  4. Track it in your publisher workspace

Publishers accept the Publisher Agreement.

Can I sell paid apps? What is the commission?

Paid checkout for third-party publishers is opening in stages. The platform commission is a single flat 15% on paid sales.
